LACYEF 2025 took place in Lima, Peru, consolidating youth inputs for the XXIV Forum of Ministers of Environment of Latin America and the Caribbean and UNEA-7 preparations.
The Latin America and Caribbean Youth Environment Forum took place on 27 September 2025 at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru in Lima, Peru.
Young people used the forum to finalize collective inputs to the XXIV Forum of Ministers, begin UNEA-7 preparations, and exchange perspectives on the regional environmental agenda.
Youth consultations and a virtual survey were consolidated into the LAC Youth Statement, which informed Member State delegations through the ministerial forum process.
