Hafeez Hamza is a global health professional specialising in antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and One Health, with over six years of experience in research, policy, advocacy, and youth engagement across Africa and global platforms. He serves as one of 14 global members of the Quadripartite Working Group on Youth Engagement for AMR (WHO–FAO–UNEP–WOAH), advising on the global youth engagement strategy. As a Thematic Focal Point of CYMG‑UNEP and board member of the Young World Federation of Public Health Associations, Hafeez has represented youth voices in major policy processes, including the 4th Global High‑Level Ministerial Conference on AMR, UNEA‑6 and UNEA‑7, and the United Nations General Assembly. His advocacy is supported by an active research record, with over ten peer‑reviewed publications on AMR, youth engagement, and community‑level policy implementation. He firmly believes youth are key to solving today’s global health challenges.
