Plastic pollution has emerged as one of the gravest challenges of our time, with severe impacts on ecosystems, climate, and human health. Recognizing the urgent need for global action, the international community has embarked on a journey from the Resumed Fifth Session of the United Nations Environment Assembly to develop a legally binding instrument on plastic pollution.
